Developed between Paris and Ho Chi Minh City, this piece draws from early memories of Vietnam and opens a deeper exploration of traditional techniques and materials. Mother-of-pearl inlay comes first, then lacquer will follow. Solid beech, dyed red, hand-carved and inlaid with mother of pearl. Blue moiré upholstery, echoing the wood grain.
