Quentin Vuong's first solo exhibition took place in January 2025 at Galerie Yves Gastou in Paris. He presented his furniture collection, After the Rain. In it, rain enters the living room, freezing the ephemeral onto the furniture. The black and silver resin drops are carefully poured onto matte wood, mimicking the delicacy of water at rest after a storm. Vuong’s mirrors possess a liquid and imperfect quality. Gilded with white gold leaf, they are adorned with cracks, artefacts of the human gesture. They reveal misty and ethereal images, expressing the passage of time. The collection invites us to engage in daily, light-filled, tactile contemplation of nature within our interiors.
